Are your ceramics food safe?
Yes! Any piece that comes in contact with food or liquid has been lined with a food safe glaze. All pieces are vitrified and have been fired to the correct temperature.
Are pieces dishwasher/microwave safe?
Yes. Pieces can be placed in the dishwasher and microwave however it is recommended to hand wash your pieces to protect the glaze and avoid any chances of discoloration.
Please note! Anything glazed with real gold luster is NOT microwave safe since it is real gold.
Any other care tips?
It is recommended to avoid putting your piece through sudden temperature changes (eg. pouring hot liquid into a cold mug) as this can cause your piece to crack.
Are your pieces handmade?
Yes! More Living Ceramics are handmade and one of a kind. Once a piece comes out of the final firing, it is thoroughly inspected to ensure you are always receiving the highest quality item. I strive to create my items as perfectly as I can but a piece may always have imperfections.
Is international shipping available?
Covid 19 has made shipping difficult and very expensive so unfortunately I will only be shipping orders to customers in the USA. I am hoping that these costs will decrease in the upcoming months.
Oh no! I received a broken piece. What now?
Every shipment is packed with love and care but accidents can happen while shipping a fragile item. If your piece gets broken during transit, please take a photo of your broken item and the box it came in (inside and outside) and contact firstname.lastname@example.org where you will be issued with a choice of a replacement or refund.
Why is shipping so expensive?
Shipping fragile ceramics requires a larger box so that your piece can be wrapped and protected to ensure that it arrives to you safely. Shipping costs are generated based on how far the package has to travel, box size and weight of package.
How long till I get my package?
Please allow 1-4 business days for your order to be packed and sent out. Once your item is shipped, a confirmation and tracking number will be sent to your email.
Do you accept returns/refunds?
Due to being a start up business, refunds and returns will not be accepted at this time.
If we do multiple orders, is there any way to combine shipping?
If you email email@example.com right away, I will combine shipping and choose the cheapest, fastest option available!
